The following items the one where you will find professional movers in California (as well as many other states) will not move. These items should not be packed into a box or be placed in a moving truck for safety reasons.
Dangerous items or flammables

Perishables
Perishable food items are hard to keep cool during a move and definitely not guaranteed. Non-perishable food items, on the other hand, can be packed and moved. You can also save yourself the extra work and donate your leftover pantry items to your nearest food bank.
Plants (On an interstate move)
If moving to a different state, it is possible that your plants may not be allowed. Make sure to reach out to your State Plant Regulatory Official or check the laws and regulations for the state that you are moving to on the National Plant Board’s website to find out which plants can and cannot make the interstate move with you.
